With a three years trajectory, our organisation is a reference, not only in Murcia región, also among a good number of international and national artists who have participated in some of our programs or other activities. LA POSTIZA Creative Centre is situated in Murcia (Southeast Spain), strategically located in a rural historic town and close to natural spaces (la huerta) and the city centre (only 10 mins driving).

LA POSTIZA Creative Centre is a program for artistic research, production, meetings and exhibitions. It’s an opportunity for artists working in site specific projects whose aim is to dynamically contribute to improve, not only the artistic practice, also the town, and seeking to foster cross-cultural relations between artists in residence, curatorial team and the locals, by involving the territory in an active way. The involvement of LA POSTIZA Creative Centre in the local scene makes the stay a key experience in their creative process.

Flexibility is an important concept for us: the idea of organising your own program of activities while on residency but always with access to support, similar to that provided by a host organisation. Structured time, with flexibility around your involvement.

Also networking and connecting with other artists and arts organisations. Human exchanges that are such a valuable part of residencies.

Duration of residency
The duration of this residency program is from one to three months (calendar months).
February – June 2018
